Melvin’s Incredible Recovery from Two Catastrophic Accidents, Asthma, and Allergies
My name is Melvin Hayden, I am a father, a husband, a musician, and a friend to many. My background is in Search and Rescue and Special Ops with the US Navy as an AIRR Rescue Swimmer. I left the service with back pain that eventually required my first spine fusion in 1993 when I was 26 years old. I could not care for or even carry my 8 month old daughter. I suffered in chronic pain from the waste down for years. During that time my immune system began to fail. I was diagnosed with severe asthma and allergies.
In the years following I was hospitalized and told I almost died multiple times. My immune system had failed and I was hospitalized with a systemic blood infection once and another time I had spinal meningitis. Another time I had contracted cellulitis after being in the sun for to long. All three times I was near death and hospitalized. I eventually was on 5 medications to control the Asthma and allergies and stay out of the hospital. One medication warned that a side affect was asthma related death. (Really???) This devastated me as I was always very health oriented. I was into wellness and athletically competitive since a teenager.
In 2005 I was in a severe car accident. I suffered a broken neck, a head injury, 15 herniated disc, 8 were ruptured, 2 broken ribs, soft tissue injuries and re-injury to my prior back injury. I have undergone a total of 7 major spine surgeries to date, 5 of them spine fusions. Shortly after the accident I was on at least 11 medications at one time to control, asthma, allergies, muscle spasms, inflammation, nerve pain and neuralgia, myopathy, tremors, severe pain, fatigue, insomnia and cognitive deficits around the head injury, and chronic to severe acute pain around the injuries and surgeries.
During the early stages of diagnostics in 2005 I saw a chiropractor who advised me that I needed to support my rehabilitation and recovery from treatments, physical therapy, and surgeries with supplements. He recommended “Liquid Organic Product” and “Liquid Calcium/Mineral Product”. I immediately noticed energy and recovery in between treatments that made it easier to get to my next appointments. Prior to that I missed appointments or felt beat up. I was so impressed I began to research the products and the company.
I eventually replaced all of my medications that controlled the symptoms I mentioned above. Better yet I did not have any of the side effects and that feeling of being toxic and unhealthy. During 2007 with the monitoring of my pulmonologist, I have been off all 5 asthma and allergy meds. I am also proud to say I have not even had a cold or any illness since 2007. I have also been able to control my chronic pain, tremors, depression, and brain injury symptoms with these superior supplements.
Today I have only had to use Rx medications for very brief periods relating directly to post surgical pain. I control my chronic pain in between surgeries with my supplements and a very mild non-narcotic analgesic. Without my supplements I would definitely be on these Rx again, without any doubt. Oh yeah, I spend just a little less than what my co-pays came out to on all the Rx’s.
