Diabetes and Dry Feet
I was diagnosed 7 years ago with type II diabetes. My doctor prescribed some meds but I really didn’t like the side effects. It was at this time I looked at my diet and cut down on many of the carbohydrates I was consuming, replacing them with different sources of protein. This helped a great deal in controlling my high blood sugar levels but I was still very sluggish in the mornings and in the afternoons around 2-2:30. I eventually went off my medication under doctor supervision. I thought my energy fluctuations would be something I would just have to deal with. I was also very lethargic and not clear headed in the morning. It wasn’t until about 9 or 10 in the morning that I finally felt awake.
It was in September of 2007 that I was introduced to Liquid Sea Vegetable Minerals. I had never heard of it before. I started with 2 oz every morning. Within 3 weeks I noticed a marked improvement in my energy levels, especially in the morning. Within 4 weeks, I was clear headed and awake when the alarm went off. My afternoon energy crashes were also beginning to be less intense and today I rarely run out of energy.
After 2 months of drinking liquid minerals, I noticed that the dry skin on the Achilles area of my ankle had returned to a normal soft skin that it was meant to be.
One of the symptoms of diabetes is dry skin, especially on the bottoms of the feet. I still had severe dry skin here, especially my heels. It would often crack and dry out and leave dry flaps. I would trim them off with nail clippers. No amount of lotion ever had any lasting effects.
I realized that if my Achilles had returned to normal, then there was still hope for the bottoms of my feet. So I took pictures of them for before and after if anything were to happen.
At 2 months there were minor improvements.
At 6 months I really got excited when I saw them still improving.
At 16 months I was thrilled.
I am sold on the benefits of liquid minerals and now drink 4 oz every morning.
I plan to have my liquid mineral sea veggies every day.
Sincerely,
